Support

Dear friends,

Boston Art Review began with a dream for a more engaged, equitable, and connected arts ecosystem.

From our earliest days in my Mission Hill living room to our current office inside the Boston Center for the Arts’ Artist Studio Building, this work has always been community-supported. This means we rely on the direct financial support of our readers to produce our most mission-critical programs: our twice annual print publication, over 150 online articles annually, our Weekly Happenings newsletter, and our Emerging Art Writing Fellowship program. We also rely on in-kind support from editors, advisors, and community partners.

For six years, Boston Art Review has filled a gap with a pioneering approach to arts coverage that puts community and connectivity at the center of our work.

To maintain momentum, we are building and fortifying systems for financial sustainability and programmatic growth. You can be a part of our next chapter by becoming a member of the BAR Giving Circle.

Please consider donating to support independent arts publishing in Boston. We truly couldn’t do this work without you.
